Ozone is toxic to humans and animals and the vehicle cannot be occupied during or immediately after treatment. It also does not clean surfaces — it only treats airborne and surface-level compounds. For deep smoke contamination in fabric and foam, ozone alone is not sufficient.
Professional detailers may use ozone as a supplementary step alongside enzyme treatment and steam cleaning for severe cases — not as a standalone solution.
